A TEAM of students from Kooringal High School has won a Charles Sturt University (CSU) business competition.
The team of three students from Kooringal High School claimed the Riverina title in the Game On competition, which is designed for students in years 11 and 12.
The winning team completed eight rounds of competition, building and running their virtual business called Ranga.
The virtual smart phone business was developed in a simulated market hosted by CSU.
“The exercise aims to help students develop skills in finance, human resource management, marketing and operations that are relevant to the real world,” Game On coordinator Dr Padma Nathan said.
“Game On complements the Stage 6 NSW Business Studies curriculum.”
More than 550 students from 23 high schools across NSW took part in the competition.
