HIP-HOP duo Spit Syndicate will be joined by a number of local acts for a show in Wagga later this month.
The Sydney-based Spit Syndicate, along with The Fusionest, Suellen, DJ Taylor Bentley, Cashing Tatum and MC MJD will play at the Capital Entertainment Centre on Friday, November 29.
Riverina headspace and Music NSW are working with Indent to present the show as part of the 2013 Indent Tour.
Spit Syndicate’s Nick Lupi said it was exciting to be coming to regional centres like Wagga.
“We’re excited to be a part of this tour, not only because it will take us to towns where we’ve never headlined shows before, but mainly because it involves performing all-ages shows in regional areas – which are two groups of people who tend to miss out on a lot of gigs,” he said.
“This tour is about more than performing a few shows, it’s about getting you people involved in the entire process of planning, promoting and pulling off a successful event.”
Indent works with people aged 12 to 25 in each region to stage the shows along the tour, helping them develop skills in areas like event management, music business and live performance alongside industry professionals.
Tickets are available at Alison Music on Baylis Street for $10, or $15 at the door.
